Ways to Save with the TAC TITANS: Financial Resources for Families
Joining the TAC TITANS Swim Team is an investment in your child’s growth and success. Below are several ways to help make it more affordable. Explore the financial resources and savings opportunities available to support your family and reduce participation costs.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Opportunity Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship designed to help make swimming more accessible. Availability is limited, and not all families may qualify, but we encourage interested families to check for open application periods and apply when eligible.
The Performance Scholarship is granted to TAC TITANS athletes who meet designated time standards. No application is required; eligibility is determined based on results.

USAS OUTREACH MEMBERSHIP
USA Swimming offers an Outreach Membership for families who qualify for WCPSS Free/Reduced meal benefits. This reduced-fee option cost only $5 per year. Contact [email protected] for instructions on how to take advantage of this benefit.
DUES REDUCTION PROGRAM
The Dues Reduction Program is a valuable opportunity for TAC TITANS families to help cover monthly dues and meet fees. Many families are able to offset their costs in entirety each season. In addition, families find it to be a rewarding community experience. Learn more here.
VOLUNTEERING
Families in the Challenge and Elite track have a service credit requirement. To avoid being billed $80 per unfulfilled service credit at the end of each season (short course and long course), complete your hours through volunteer opportunities made available throughout the year.
Vounteering supports our swimmers and ensures TITANS meets are the best possible experience for swimmers AND can also save your family up to $960 per swim season.
PAID MEET POSITIONS
Become a Meet Official, Announcer or Hospitality Lead! These are key roles that help the TAC TITANS successfully host meets. After completing the required skills training and fulfilling service credit requirements, once done these paid positions can help offset dues. (Note: payment is in the form of Dues Credit.)

GEAR / EQUIPMENT PURCHASING
Swimmers in the Challenge and Elite tracks who register for the team before September 15 receive a TITANS team suit (Speedo) as a bonus.
Shop for equipment and suits at Kiefer Aquatics where TAC TITANS members receive discounts on required equipment and Speedo gear.
